Swing made from all recycled materials, 3 person kid swing, Repurposed tire

I made and mounted the 3 person kids tire swing yesterday.

It was made from all recycled and repurposed materials.

The tire was saved years ago with the thought of a more traditional 1 person rope swing.

Most of the hardware, including the chains, came from a discarded porch swing I salvaged from the curb recently.

Construction was easy.

After washing the tire, I drilled 3 holes on each side. One side for the chain mounts and the other side for water drainage.

I used washers underneath and on the top for better structure. To prevent the bolts from pulling through.

The few pieces of hardware not supplied by the porch swing were earlier ones saved years ago.

Waste not want not.
