Curb discard shelf stand painted with help of under 4 grandkids, Teaching recycling and painting, We will probably use if not find a new home

Granny says: “Waste not want not.”

We, my under 4 years of age grandkids and I, painted the shelf stand rescued from the curb side a few days ago.

It was a lesson in recycling, painting and working with grandpa.

It turned out pretty good.

We will probably use it, but if not, see that it gets a good home.

As someone who loves wood I hated to paint the top at all. The board is 15 1/2 inches wide. Something you don’t see much anymore and an indicator of age.
