Greensboro Downtown Greenway Cedar St. turn around and Spring to Prescott St. section completion, Repurposing path ways

The Cedar St. turn around, part of the Greensboro Downtown Greenway Spring St. to Prescott St. section, opened this morning, Saturday, August 24, 2019.

The sidewalk, stone wall and Smith St. paving, beyond the Cedar St. turn around have been completed as well, effectively completing this section.

This section of the Greenway consisted of much grading, construction  and landscaping and arguably is the most impressive section thus far.

The Greenway is repurposing old pathways, sidewalks, rail lines  and creating new pathways.
