Recycled reused chair saved from landfill, One of a kind prototype for Furniture Market, Next door neighbor friend and business owner disposed of, Recovered with fabric owned for years, Chair being used again, No cost
Granny says: “Waste not want not.”
This is my kind of project and recycling and reusing.
- It was disposed of by my next door neighbor and friend.
- It was simple.
- It is unusual.
- It is real wood.
- It was made as a prototype for the Furniture Market.
- It may be the only one in the world.
- I used fabric I had owned for years.
- And it was free.
The removal of the old fabric was a bit of a bear but required only perseverance and simple tools.
I don’t pretend to be an upholsterer but even with my limited talent, the new fabric transformed the look of the chair.
It can always be covered later.
You gotta save it first!
